This is not a test of the game, just some of my toughts about it and what I think. This game started as a game for GameCube and the first pictures and videos of the game was showed a E3 in 2004. Over the years, the development shifted to Wii and was finaly released in November/December 2006 on both Wii and GameCube (probably one of the last Nintendo made games for GC). I've been playing Twilight Princess on the Wii for some month now. It's a very good game and a must have title in your Wii colection. As always in Zelda games, you start with to bare hands in your village. Link can't do much, but that will change over time. The first couple of hours, you wander around and may feel that nothing much is happening. But as soon as you get to the first dungeon, things just comes to you. There is very much to do and the landscape is very big. There is so much to explore that you will walk around or ride your horse, just to see what around the next corner. From time to time, you will enter the Twillight as a wolf with the help of Midna. Some tasks can only be solved as a wolf and later in the game you can change from Link to the wolf at will. You will get a sword and shield that also will be upgraded as you progress. You will get the boomerang, bombs and bow&arrows among other usefull things. The fun about Zelda games is that you early in the games sees areas that you can't reach, but you will get there later in the game when you get the right tool. There is 9 dungeon, including the final battle. The Hyrule world is big and it's much to explore. You also have sidequests. You can collegt souls and bugs. The game looks amazing and even better when you enter the Twilight. The controller works very well and it feels natural to slash you Wii-mote when you use the sword. This is a highly recommanded game. |
