Forecast Channel

The Weather Channel was the first new channel that went live on Wii December 22nd. This is actually a usefull and funny channel to use.

The first time you download and install it, you choose which part of the country you live in and then the city you are in. At the moment there are not that many cities to choose from, so you may have to choose a city that can be at bit far from where you actualy live. This is the case for me. So I hope Nintendo will update it with more places to choose from.

From what I've seen, the weather information is updated 3-4 times a day. You can see how the weather are where you are. You can see the weather forecast for today, tomorrow and 5 days ahead. To my experience, you can't see the 5 day forecast in other countries than you own. But that shouldn't be a problem.

The funny part of the Forecast Channel is that you can zoom out from where you are and see the world. You can not only see the weather , but also the temperature of many cities. I always try to fine the hottest town in the world.
