The multi-console RetroN 5 from Hyperkin was supposed to come out last year, but if all goes well, the console will be out in April 2014.
With RetroN 5 you can play games from Nintendo NES, Famicom, SNES, Super Famicom, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Gameboy Advance, Genesis, Mega Drive, and with the use of the Mega Drive/Genesis Power Convert, you can play Sega Master System games too. From all regions!
The console will cost you $99.99 and I’ve pre-ordered the RetroN 5 from Amazon.com [affiliate-link].
The console comes with:
- 1 Bluetooth Wireless Controller
- 1 HDMI Cable
- 1 AC Adapter with 4 variable head sockets
And you can use original controllers too. RetroN 5 will upconvert the games to HD and you can apply filters to both the graphics and sound. You can save games onto the console/SD-card to resume at a later point.
